WORKSHOP November 1st & 2nd
Regent Park Film Festival 3D Live Animation Workshop
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Participants in this 2-day film workshop will create an animated film, mixing performance with greenscreen techniques that insert the participants into archival photographs and 3D simulations of Regent Park. Examining historic neighbourhood photos from the 1940's to the present, participants will form into small groups to develop short scripts with Cayle Chernin, acclaimed Canadian producer, writer and actor. Participants will then perform their scripts in a greenscreen session with filmmaker Jason J. Brown.

The final result-an animated film using participants as actors in the historic and future world of Regent Park-will screen at the Regent Park Closing Night Ceremony on November 8th.
